In Pervouralsk, a criminal case was brought against the former mayor and former leader of the Sverdlovsk branch of Yabloko Yuri Pereverzev. The Pervouralsky investigative department of the TFR in the Sverdlovsk region accuses the politician of "exceeding official authority" (part 2, article 286 of the Criminal Code).

According to the investigators, in June 2013 Pereverzev, being the head of Pervouralsk, handed over the land plot in the 73rd block of the Verkh-Isetsky forestry of the Shirokorechenskoye forestry to SNT "Lake Glukhoe", having issued a resolution by the administration of the municipality. The siloviki are sure that the administration did not have the authority to dispose of this site.

Recall, Yuri Pereverzev won the election of the head of Pervouralsk in 2011, being a candidate from the Communist Party.

Two years later, he entered into a conflict with the shareholder of Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant Andrei Komarov, as a result of which the Duma-controlled Duma made several attempts to send Pereverzev to resign, but he resumed the authority through the court. Finally, he lost his post in the summer of 2013, when this procedure was agreed by the governor Evgeny Kuyvashev. Later, Pereverzev headed the regional branch of Yabloko. On June 17, he disrupted the holding of a party conference, at which delegates were to nominate Yevgeny Roizman as a candidate for governors.
