In Kharkov, an elderly man went out into the street with a banner inscribing that on June 22, 1941 "Hitler and Bandera attacked Ukraine".

Photo of the old man on his Facebook page was published by journalist Igor Poddubny.

"This is Kharkov today, bl. Someone asked this grandfather: on whose side was the Soviet Union when the Second World War began?

If you can not put anything to your grandfathers and grandmothers, you can at least grieve your grandchildren! "- he commented on photo.

Note that on June 22, 1941, Germany attacked the USSR. Russian historiography considers this day the beginning of the "Great Patriotic War".

In the comments to the photo, users noted that this grandfather was born about 15 years after the war began.

As reported by the "Observer", earlier in Kharkov there was a language scandal.
