In no case should Ukraine abandon the Donbass, since in order to bring order to the region, it will be sufficient only to take control of the border and cut off the LND terrorists from Russian supplies. Under such a scenario, it will not even be necessary to conduct military operations - the siloviki will only have to liquidate the bandit groups.

This was stated by the head of the National Guard of Ukraine Yuri Aller in an interview with "Apostrophe".

According to him, in the occupied territories there are a lot of ethnic Ukrainians who even speak Ukrainian. Therefore, the option of abandoning certain regions of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions (ORDLO) is simply unacceptable.

The Commander of the National Guard noted that many people from temporarily occupied territories remained there only because they had nowhere to flee, although they were not against going to the territory of free Ukraine.

"To feel what the Donbass is, there you just have to stay a little bit. Undoubtedly, the inhabitants of Donbass differ slightly in their mentality, in relation to Ukraine from natives of Western Ukraine. But the eastern Ukrainians are the same Ukrainians as all the rest. And very wrong now those who believe that you just need to cut off the Donbass and forget. You can not do it this way!

Otherwise we will come to nowhere. We will tear our country into small pieces - to whom in Romania, to whom in Poland, to whom in Muscovy. And all - there is no country. This in any case should not be allowed, "- said Allerov.
