At the consideration of the US Congress introduced a bill that aims to change the cyberstrategy of NATO countries to protect members of the alliance from potential threats from Russia.

This is reported by RT.

The bill was introduced by a Democrat, Rep. Luis Correa. The initiative prescribes the use of network attacks "to curb air, land or sea attacks" on the part of Russia. However, what exactly are the threats in question, it is not specified in the text of the document.

"In the key interests of the United States is to strengthen the offensive and defensive cyber capabilities of NATO countries to contain and repel Russian cyberattacks and operations to spread Russian influence," reads the text of the document.

A new cyberstrategy can be designed to disable enemy military equipment, explained PIR Center consultant Oleg Demidov.

"Apparently, here we have in mind the development of a methodology and strategy of actions and tools that will enable the military, through network operations, to warn against the use of the forces of potential adversaries in other theaters of operations," he said..

As reported by the "Observer", earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin broke out threats against the US and NATO.
