Soon after the release of the Chechen volunteer and volunteer Adam Osmayev from the hospital after the assassination attempt in the center of Kiev, his wife Amin Okuyev agreed to a conversation with the "Observer". At the same time, she asked to limit herself to a minimum of questions, explaining this by the need to take care of her husband recently discharged from the hospital.
Unfortunately, Amina Okueva refused to disclose information about her past, explaining that she did not want to comment on the work of Russian propaganda, but answered several other questions.
"Amina, did this attempt somehow change your plans for life?" Are you going to leave Ukraine?.
- No, for the foreseeable future we are not going to. Of course, technical aspects play a role: Adam can not go anywhere, since the Russian Federation filed him for international search.
- And you yourself?.
- And I myself would not like anywhere. First, I can not go abroad with my weapons, and I would feel uncomfortable, and secondly, in my opinion, Ukraine has enough interesting things. So even without long trips we are not bored at all.
- Is it true that in the car, when you were attacked by a hitman, a video was written? The moment of the attack and your response to the killer got to the video?.
- Yes, the killer told us that he wants to capture the moment of receiving the "gift" on the video. And asked to shoot on his phone in the "Salfi". Obviously, he wanted to capture the moment of our murder. Naturally, at the moment of firing the phone fell out of my hands, but, nevertheless, everything that was happening one way or another should have been recorded, at least in audio mode. I hope that many of his records are preserved and will help the investigation. And when this becomes possible, they will be provided to the public.
- Tell us, where did you learn to shoot so cool?.
- I've always loved guns. Was engaged at every opportunity. But, of course, with the beginning of the war I undertook to study more thoroughly. Before being sent to the front, we were trained for several weeks in the "Artan Center". They showed the methods of possession of weapons and forced to reinforce skills by repeating many times (as they say, "holovit"). Elements of tactics and training fights were also. But the emphasis was still made on bringing to the automatism the change of the store, reloading, removal from the fuse. This is what helped in an extreme situation.
- Was there anyone you could call your teacher?.
- I tried to learn something new everywhere, when communicating with various specialists. Both front-line soldiers, and instructors of special forces and athletes. So, I learned a lot from the instructor of one of the Kyiv's shooting ranges - Vadim.
Now, probably, I'll go to him to develop a new gun - Glock-43, which I was awarded by the Minister of Internal Affairs for the successful detention of the criminal.
- He does not know about your excellent combat skills, probably only deaf. Have you thought about opening a school for Ukrainian women and teaching them all how to shoot?.
- I'm not very close to business ideas. Therefore, if we talk about teaching someone what I can do, then for me the option is more like an army instructor's position than a private school.
