Vitaliy Shabunin, head of the public organization "Center for Contradiction of Corruption", has recently become the focus of media attention. Handing the summons to the military enlistment office to a well-known anti-corruption person turned into a show - the visit of the military commissariat employees was accompanied by a scandal, and the campaign on the agenda indicated in the agenda turned into a fight.
At the same time, anti-corruption statements about their unfitness to service leave questions. "Observer" collected the main details of the scandal.
Employees of the Dneprovsky regional military registration and enlistment office of the city of Kiev, who came to hand over the agenda to Shabunin, waited for him for several minutes at the doorstep of the house. After they managed to summon him to the street, the military received resistance, as Shabunin ordered them to go beyond his yard and forbade videotaping. It should be noted that Shabunin behaved quite nervously, laughed, ruffled and raised his voice at the representative of the military commissariat and his escort, consisting of former military men.
In addition, he was indignant at the presentation of the summons to him, arguing his position by the fact that he no longer falls under the draft age, because the military committees do not know the Ukrainian laws and the fact that the summons was not sent to him in advance by mail.
Later, on his Facebook page, Shabunin expressed his dissatisfaction with the fact that they came to him from the military commissariat on the birthday of his daughter and doubted that he had actually communicated with officials.
The next day, after appearing on the summons to the military enlistment office, Shabunin struck in the face of the blogger, an assistant to the People's Deputy of the group "The Will of the People" Sergei Melnychuk Vsevolod Filimonenko. A video was published, which shows that the blogger approaches Shabunin with a microphone when he gets out of the car. They go together for a while, then the head of the Anti-Corruption Center beats Filimonenko.
Later, near the building of the Dnieper military registration and enlistment office in Kiev, the blogger splashed Shabunin in the face with gas from a can.
Filimonenko said that Shabunin hit him after the question: "Why do not you fight in ATU?" The blogger said he was hospitalized with a jaw and a concussion.
According to Shabunin, he struck Filimonenko for insulting an employee of the Center for Counteracting Corruption Alexander Ustinov.
Note that Shabunin himself insists that he is not fit for military service for health reasons, and his call to the military enlistment office is almost an attempt to kill the anti-corruption agent. However, the documents published on the Internet indicate the opposite.
In particular, the summons specifies the specification of military registration data as the reason for the call. The network suggests that Shabunin simply did not become registered in his military registration and enlistment office.
Also, a written testimony of Shabunin was published, in which he was called restricted to service in time of war. In addition, the document says that Shabunin is subject to medical re-examination.
It is worth noting that Shabunin, who is so reluctant to receive agendas and complains about poor health, earlier spoke sharply on the case of the head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov, who also stated about health problems.
"It was so scary that NABU was afraid that it was probably ready to go under itself if only it would be hard for the sick to show up," Shabunin contemptuously wrote about Nasirov, who was subsequently diagnosed with cancer.
However, now the anti-corruption is not up to laughing - with a call to the military enlistment office, which turned into a real show, he was noticeably nervous and remembered about the old diseases.
It should be noted that Shabunina was eventually sent to the military registration and enlistment office at the place of residence. Already there he received a referral for medical examination.
As reported by the "Observer", previously Vitali Shabunin led the journalists to the question of where he took 250 thousand dollars for a big house.
