The deputy group "Party Vidrodzhennya" did not vote for the government bill No. 6327, which in Ukraine introduced paid medical services, according to the website of the party.

This bill can not be called a medical reform, since it significantly reduces the ability of Ukrainians to receive medical care.

This was stated by the first deputy chairman of the party "Vidrodzhennia" Vladimir Pilipenko.

He recalled that people's deputies of the Party Vidrodzhennya group were members of the working group under the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the issues of finalizing the medical reform. And also attended the meeting of the National Council of Reforms under the President of Ukraine dedicated to this issue.

However, despite the promises, the requirements of "Vidrodzhennya" were not taken into account in the text of bill No. 6327, brought in the end by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada. Therefore, the group did not vote for this bill.

Among these conditions, Vladimir Pilipenko called: free delivery and free medical care for children, as well as the possibility of receiving medical subsidies for low-income citizens.

"If free pediatric care and childbirth is not included in this bill, Vidrodzhennya will not vote for him, and this was our fundamental demand. Also, we have more than half the population below the poverty line! And they should be provided with state guarantees in full. There are a lot of options: this and insurance medicine, which for some reason they do not want to introduce, and a medical subsidy, which was also not taken into account.

It is not important that it will be - in principle, only one - the additional financial burden should not fall on the shoulders of people, as it is now proposed in the form of co-payment, violating the Constitution of Ukraine, "said Pilipenko.

According to him, the mechanism of medical subsidies for unprotected populations is international practice, analogues of which are successfully applied in a number of countries, in particular in Canada and Bulgaria, as well as in Switzerland.
