If the president signed a decree banning the activities of the Moscow Patriarchate in Ukraine on the analogy with the ban on Russian social networks, this would have a negative scenario for the country.

This was in an interview with "Apostrophe" told the People's Deputy, coordinator of "Information Resistance" Dmitry Tymchuk.

"Because then all the negative would be focused on the president. And this is not just social networks, when the pioneer Vasya wrote to the girl Masha from Saratov. Here is quite another. And international organizations, which are engaged in freedom of religion and so on, will interfere, "he said..

According to Tymchuk, it would be wrong to direct all this negativity to one person - the president.

"And the Verkhovna Rada is a collective responsibility.

And what is the beauty of parliamentarism? What can always be said: this law was adopted by the people of Ukraine. Yes, maybe he's wrong - but this is the will of the people. Because people's deputies, in accordance with all world standards of democracy, realize the people's right to make state decisions, "the People's Deputy resumed.

Recall earlier in the Rada explained the colossal opposition of the UOC MP "church" laws.
