Strange things happen to us recently. On the one hand, radical nationalism began to manifest itself under the prism of self-identification of the Ukrainian people. Representatives from the party "Freedom" propose, for example, to return the nationality to the passport in the passport and provide benefits (!!!) To ethnic Ukrainians in employment. At the same time, some deputies are starting to play another provocative card - anti-Semitism. Our heroine Savchenko "suddenly" started talking about her dislike for the Jews, the singer Violin told about the "ghetto" for not being able to learn Ukrainian, and the old Shukhevych said that the word "Jews" was invented in the NKVD, and the word "Jews" does not exist Nothing offensive. Needless to say, what kind of reaction does this cause in society. And how skillfully, including by our enemies, radical moods are heated up. Aggression, bitterness, fear and a sense of injustice are implanted specifically for the section of the electorate for "their own" and for others ". This is a very dangerous path.
Ethnic nationalism, multiplied by radical patriotism, with elements of anti-Semitism - destroys the foundations of the state and leads to disunity in society. This is an axiom.
But in any civilized country such a thing as patriotism is absorbed with the mother's milk and accompanies a person all his life. Respect for one's state, its history, symbols, mental characteristics and traditions are brought up from early childhood and are unshakable ideological postulates. Anything that can disrupt and have a devastating impact on society is carefully and thoughtfully deduced to the level of a nationwide discussion. Humanitarian and cultural programs are being created to shape public opinion and prevent split and mutual distrust. The unity of a nation is always formed on a unifying basis. On the contrary, "slippery" topics and controversial historical moments are never used by politicians to "collect their own electoral harvest" to the detriment of the unified state strategy of social cohesion. Internal contradictions and discrepancies are trying to turn into a strong and unifying development strategy. And certainly, the powers that be of these civilized states do not take decisions that knowingly lead to a mental conflict within their own state. Moreover, civilized patriotism is not aggressive or militant. Any radical manifestations are equated with false patriotism and cause rejection in any society.
In Ukraine, unfortunately, all the way around. State men often take deliberately destructive decisions and deliberately lead to the manifestation of radical and aggressive sentiments. Moreover, the ground for such a reaction is. Modern Ukraine, in its current borders, is very heterogeneous. It is multicultural, with pronounced regional characteristics and different perceptions of its past. By the way, objectivity for the sake of, many regions really have a history, historical characters and traditions. Even, fairy-tale characters are different. In addition, the humanitarian aspect for many years was not in demand in our country. The country lived in a state of "between here and there". Contradictions accumulated and matured, and the state did not pay attention to it. On these contradictions, many politicians built their campaigns.
And today, when "thanks to" Russian aggression in the East and the annexation of the Crimea, Ukrainians felt themselves to be a single political nation, without any tie to ethnic and cultural differences, when a desire for creation and a desire to understand each other and form a single humanitarian space appeared, some politicians decided All this is to destroy and again lead to a split.
Moreover, it seems that "subversive" humanitarian activities are carried out deliberately. Otherwise, it is difficult to explain, for example, the official ban of the St. George ribbon or a number of social networks. Of course, the argument about "Russian aggression" and "protecting their national security" is clear. But to take such decisions, without going into sociological studies and without predicting the consequences, is extremely short-sighted. And it's not safe. From such decisions, patriotism will no longer be, but the level of tension and the desire for a "humanitarian underground" will definitely increase. People have different perceptions of the events of World War II. And do not forcibly change the gene memory of millions of its citizens. Moreover, such administrative methods. Tell me, does someone think that it is possible to unite people by prohibitions? Are not the events of 2003-2004 taught us anything? Is it possible that two Maidans and thousands of deaths can not stop our politicians from such mediocre actions and rash statements? Ukrainian National idea on the opposition can not be created. Russian cultural mentality exists and with this it is necessary, at least, to be considered. Ban, without offering anything in return, a stupid idea. It is necessary to create its own humanitarian space. His cinema, his literature, his new traditions. But you need to do this very carefully and slowly. And most importantly, systematically and without prejudice to the rights of its citizens. Otherwise, we are waiting for a humanitarian impasse, which will inevitably be followed by a social explosion and the division of the state into specific principalities. In general, I believe that if Pan Vyatrovich becomes the main ideologue of Ukraine, and Farion and Kirilenko will embody this ideology in life, the state will be doomed. And no calls and slogans about unification will not help. The only "conclusion" Vyatrovich that symbols of the division "SS Galicia" are not subject to a ban, which are.
And in conclusion. You can, of course, talk as much as you like about "values ??alien to us", introduce multiple prohibitions on any manifestation of dissent. It is possible, under the pretext of creating an enemy image, to prohibit cinematography and literature, to build up radicalism in patriotic moods. You can try to divert the attention of your citizens from serious problems, giving out to the right and left suspicions to Stalin and Beria. You can even carry out absentia justice over Yanukovych. All this will help to unite Ukraine. Russian-speaking and Ukrainian-speaking, differently honoring veterans, and differently referring to their past. "Patriot", plundering his country, no less disgusting than an outspoken ideological opponent. Therefore, it is necessary immediately to stop destroying that fragile state of unity achieved at such a huge price and finally form a single state humanitarian policy capable of leveling out all contradictions. If the Ukrainian political elite continues to continue its dangerous experiments, we are facing a humanitarian collapse. Behind which is usually the decomposition of the state.
