Today, on May 18, the organizing committee for the primaries of "United Russia" in Nizhny Tagil will sum up the preliminary voting for candidates for the post of Mayor of the city, held on the eve, May 17.
It is already known that 198 electors voted for the acting head of Sergei Nosov, the vice-mayor Vladislav Pinaev with 180 votes took the second place, and the third was with the speaker of the Tagil Duma, Alexander Maslov.
The fourth candidate to run for mayor, deputy Vyacheslav Goryachkin withdrew his candidacy from the primaries.
Commenting on the results of the preliminary voting, Sergei Nosov noted that he was more pleased with the result of his deputy, whose work was "appreciated highly".
The election of the mayor of Nizhny Tagil will be held on September 10, 2017.
