Members of the European Parliament who voted against granting Ukraine a visa-free regime with the European Union did not oppose the Ukrainians, but against the failed EU migration policy.

This was stated by the deputy of the European Parliament, one of the leaders of the "National Front" Bruno Golnish, TSN reports.

"It was not against Ukraine, it's our common position. We are against the visa coordinated at the level of the European Union, because we have too opened the borders of Europe and now it is impossible to control the migration, "said the MEP.

In doing so, he cites as an example the problem of the migration of people from Africa and the Middle East through Italy.

"I recognize that I am very sympathetic to Ukraine, and I do not like that this is happening in your country. I believe that we Europeans should help to establish difficult relations with Russia. Although we do not want to be inside this conflict. It is a pity that he is, but he has nothing to do with our national interests, "said Golnish.

According to him, even if the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is over, Russia will not be able to sign the Association Agreement with the EU.

"As long as the situation is as it is now, we need to try to help find a solution, since we need to maintain good relations with both countries. But in my opinion, Russia can not be an associate member of the European Union. The EU is getting bigger, I'm not even afraid to say - it's thicker, and through it it will sometime necessarily burst. We do not control anything anymore - we do not control borders, trade in goods from Asia, some industrial sectors in Europe are even beginning to collapse because of this, and we do not use our potential.

And that's why very many Europeans are very unhappy with the politics of Europe, "he explained..

At the same time Eurosceptic has the best ideas about Ukrainians.

"Diplomats, journalists, tourists, students. We even had a Ukrainian who became the queen of France. True, it was a long time ago - almost a thousand years ago, "the MP added..

As reported by "Observer", it became known when Ukrainians can travel to EU countries without visas.
