Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada at a plenary meeting on Tuesday supported draft resolution No. 6445 on early termination of the powers of the non-factional deputy of the People's Deputies Andrei Artemenko.

The corresponding decision was taken by 244 people's representatives.

It should be noted that Artemenko himself was absent from the parliament session.

Let us remind you that earlier Artemenko sent a letter to Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andrey Parubia asking not to consider the issue of termination of his powers of a people's deputy before the decision of the Administrative Court.

As reported by the "Observer", Artemenko during interrogation in the Prosecutor General's Office said that he is a citizen of Canada.
