US President Donald Trump has "very interesting ideas" to increase pressure on Russia.

This was told by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin, TSN reports..

"One of the main political signals is a real desire to be drawn to pressure on Russia. There are very interesting ideas, I can talk about these interesting ideas only later, when we agree among all friends, and of course, any moments will have to be agreed with Germany and with the newly elected president of France, "he said..

According to the minister, it can be political messages, for example, the NATO summit or G7, but there are also economic levers of pressure.

"And sanctions are only one dimension of what can be done in the future. You have already accused me of diplomatic language, I'm trying to somehow get out of this, but with certain hints. There are other ideas.

We can talk about the strengthening of the international component, the strengthening of the OSCE, the strengthening of the SMM, the creation of another mission that will really control the territory of the occupied Donbass, "explained the chief of Ukrainian diplomacy.

As reported by the "Observer", on May 10, the US President held talks with Klimkin. A few hours earlier, Trump met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
