In Ukraine, the order of withdrawal of illegally imported Russian books came into force.

It was approved by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers on April 5, published in the official publication of the central executive bodies of the "Uriadovy Kuryer" on March 14 and entered into force 30 days after its publication - May 14.

Now, to obtain permission to import publications from Russia and the occupied territory, the business entity must file an application, one copy of the original of the imported publication, an agreement with the owner of the rights to publish and review the evaluation and characterization of the content of the publication, compiled in the state language by an expert.

In case of non-compliance with the criteria of publishing products allowed in the territory of Ukraine, the expert council of the State Committee for Radio and Television may prohibit its distribution.

In addition, the basis for refusal to issue a permit may be filing an incomplete package of documents or inaccurate information.

Earlier, the "Observer" published a list of books banned for import to Ukraine.
