Then, according to the message, the meeting of the head of the Ukrainian foreign ministry with US vice-president Michael Pence. The parties discussed in detail the development of the situation in eastern Ukraine.

At the same time, Klimkin thanked for the unchanged position of the US administration in supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine and counteracting Russian aggression.

The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Valery Chaly.
