Interpol stopped the search for Yanukovych: the police disclosed the details

The Ukrainian National Bureau of Interpol has confirmed the information that the international organization has stopped the search for former President Viktor Yanukovych.

This "Ukrainian Truth" was reported by the representative of the National Police of Ukraine Yaroslav Trakalo.

Trakalo noted that the information that Interpol had been received by the National Bureau from the Interpol files monitoring commission.

According to him, this commission also ordered the General Secretariat of Interpol to remove from the search base of ex-President Yanukovych and all information concerning his son Alexander.



Trakalo also added that the Ukrainian bureau had transmitted the information received to the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine as a pre-trial investigation body.

At the same time, he did not comment on the reasons for such actions by Interpol, saying that it was the competence of the GPU.

As reported by the "Observer", earlier Interpol removed from the search of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
