The National Anti-Corruption Bureau insists on the legality of the petition of detectives about the detention of ex-deputy Nikolai Martynenko, ZN reported. UA in the NABU.
At the request of ZN. UA NABU provided the editorial office with a certificate of Martynenko's actions and movements on the eve of the searches planned by the detectives in the framework of the investigation into the case of the purchase of uranium concentrate by the Eastern GOK through an Austrian gasket company.
The document outlines Martynenko's step-by-step actions on the eve and on the day of his announcement of suspicion, which testify to the ex-deputy's intentions to avoid responsibility.
In particular, "while waiting for searches on Thursday morning, April 20, left the place of permanent residence the previous night and gave instructions to members of his family to do the same".
Martynenko also informed his relatives about the list of addresses and cars for which searches are planned and indicated places that, in his opinion, are safe and organized the work of persons under his control, aimed at concealing objects and documents that could have significance for criminal proceedings ".
In the NABU added that, on Martynenko's instructions, his entourage "went to a secret way of communication," and the ex-deputy turned off his phone and contacted the environment through other means of communication.
On the night of April 19, Martynenko did not spend the night at home, and the next day the detectives of NABU established that the ex-deputy was in the reception room of people's deputy Denis Dzendzersky. Detectives Bureau tried to contact Martynenko through the phone of the reception desk of Dzendzersky, but the secretary, "hearing the name and position of the interlocutor," refused to tie the detective to Martynenko, saying that he would call back. Martynenko never called back.
Further realizing that the detectives of NABU had established his place of stay, Martinenko for six hours was hiding in the waiting room of Dzendzerski and only after lengthy negotiations with the detectives, he was persuaded to leave.
The NABU emphasizes that all the above indicates that "Martynenko took steps in advance to obtain information about plans for further investigation, tactics and methods, and conduct investigative actions, and this information was used by him to develop a plan to avoid criminal responsibility and flight From the place of possible conduct of investigative actions ".
It is for such actions that the detectives of the NABU, according to Art.. 208 CPC of Ukraine, decided to detain Martynenko in order to eliminate the possibility of further avoidance of responsibility and attempts to escape.
Recall that today, April 22, in the Solomensky District Court of Kiev denied the arrest of former people's deputy Nikolai Martynenko and released him on bail under the personal guarantee of people's deputies.
