Why will the mass "filtration" of Ukrainians begin with visa-free travel?

My publication about the risks and chances for Ukraine from visa-free regime caused the expected resonance. Emotions have subsided, so I want to return to this topic again.

The day is closer when a citizen of Ukraine can visit the countries of Europe without having to obtain a visa. This is certainly a breakthrough in relation to the Ukrainians. But along with the long-awaited visa-free regime, Ukrainians will receive a more severe attitude to illegal migration.

The introduction of biometric passports enhances the control over movement and location in Europe. Those who try to work in lieu of tourism and violate the terms of stay, runs the risk of receiving a ban on visiting a European country.

The European Union needs respectable, loyal and law-abiding Ukrainians-tourists.

A new filter for Ukrainian zarobitschans Before, if our zarobitchans had problems entering the work in Europe, they resorted to a change of passport data and went to work under a new surname.

According to statistics, thousands of Ukrainians change their surname and passport every year simply. The reason for this "just so" is just the need to zero data zarobitchane.

Now, with a visa-free regime, fingerprints will leave the Zarobitschans on this side of the border. Thus, Europe sets a filter for Ukrainian citizens. Everyone who is legally organized in Europe will continue to work.

Zarobitchane illegal immigrants will return to Ukraine. And the government should now prepare the ground for their return. If qualified personnel participate in the revival of industry, this will accelerate the restart of the economy. But if the authorities, as always will be idle, the returning citizens will only replenish the army of the unemployed.

Work for their own The coming to the countries of Europe to the power of pragmatic politicians in the Trump style will change the migration flows, because they will give work to their citizens.

Remember "Polish plumbing" - the image of cheap labor from Eastern Europe for Germany, France, Britain? Now, in the post-Brexit era, migrant workers - citizens of EU countries - will return to their homeland, exerting pressure on the labor market and demanding from national governments to work for them, rather than for visiting Ukrainians. But after all, according to official and unofficial statistics, it is in Poland and Hungary that most of the working Ukrainians.

At the same time, the Ukrainian authorities themselves are interested in reducing the number of possible illegal migrants from Ukraine. If for 2 months the growth of illegal immigrants is more than 50%, then it threatens to suspend a visa-free regime.

In 2015 year. In the EU, 23,850 Ukrainian citizens with irregular status were identified, which is 42% more than in 2014. That is, the Ukrainian authorities themselves will actively combat illegal migration, otherwise it will lose one of its major European "achievements".

Back migration It is easy to foresee the tendency of mass return of Ukrainian labor migrants to Ukraine. Power must prepare for this wave.

The first. The volume of remittances will be reduced for migrants to their families in Ukraine. This amount is estimated at more than 5% of GDP, which means that there will be a serious impact on incomes and expenditures of citizens, and in general on the domestic economy.

The second. Returning Ukrainians will increase pressure on the labor market, which will lead to social tension.

The power already today must create conditions for returning migrants. At the same time, this "reverse migration" can become a chance for the development of the country.

Return will be those who are willing and want to work, and not receive benefits. Those who worked on the "euro-work" received a competitive modern specialty and an understanding of responsibility.

In addition, they tend to speak one or more foreign languages.

The power should create for returning labor migrants both conditions for opening of the business, and new workplaces.

And then their return can pour new productive forces into the Ukrainian economy.
