Obolonsky District Court of Kyiv summoned former President Viktor Yanukovych to a meeting on the treason case in which he is suspected.
The agenda was published on the website "The Judiciary of Ukraine".
The session in the framework of the criminal proceedings on the state treason will be held on May 4.
Accused Yanukovych should arrive by 10:00.
As reported by the "Observer", Viktor Yanukovych is suspected of high treason, complicity in willful acts committed with the aim of changing the borders of the territory of Ukraine, as well as aiding in the conduct of an aggressive war.
On March 16, the Verkhovna Rada adopted amendments to the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine to give a start to the conviction in absentia of a runaway ex-president in the treason case.
