Ukrainians for the third year in a row bought the largest area of ??living space in Poland in comparison with other foreign nationalities. As informs Dziennik, last year citizens of Ukraine have bought apartments on the area of ??70 thousand. square. m, that is, 16% more than in 2016, while the total demand of foreigners was 264 thousand. square. Thus, Ukrainians bought 27% of the area acquired by all foreigners (individuals), ie 3% more compared to the previous year. Today in Poland there are about a million Ukrainians.

The following places among foreigners are occupied by Germans, British, Byelorussians and Frenchmen.

The most popular apartments were in Warsaw, Krakow and Wroclaw. In 2017, foreigners purchased 1,047 premises in the Polish capital, that is, 5% less than a year earlier.

According to Eurostat, housing prices in Poland last year rose by 3.4% compared to the previous year.

Recall that in the first half of 2018 the intensity of movement of Ukrainians on the border between Ukraine and Poland fell by more than 8%.
