Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ), together with Uklon and Bolt, has launched night support for passengers who, due to train delays, arrive after curfew, in particular due to discounts and an increase in the number of taxis near train stations. At the same time, the service is not available in all cities and often requires special passes, and travel rules depend on the decisions of local authorities.

Ukrzaliznytsia reports this.. They noted that the service became possible after taxi services received permission to operate during the curfew in Kyiv. It was the capital that became a pilot city where passengers arriving on overnight or delayed trains can more easily get home. The Uklon service, as part of cooperation with Ukrzaliznytsia, has introduced a special discount on night trips from Kyiv stations. Passengers who have the UZ and Uklon applications installed can use it.

The mechanics are simple, because in the Uklon application in the “Iron offers” section you need to exchange one “hug” for a promotional code, and then activate it in the Uklon application. The promotional code is valid during the night period - from 23:15 to 05:00 and can be used once per night.

Thus, passengers who find themselves at the station after curfew through no fault of their own receive a real alternative to waiting overnight or dangerous walking routes. Bolt service has chosen a different support format. The company is increasing the number of cars in station areas in the event of widespread train delays and is trying to curb sharp price increases at peak times..

In addition, a joint promotion continues to operate, which provides a 50% discount on trips from and to train stations at any time of the day.. Separate promotional codes are also provided for railway workers - for business trips at night.

At the same time, it should be noted that the ability to call a car at night is not available in all cities. From January 22, Uklon expanded 24-hour work during curfew to 19 cities in Ukraine.

In addition to Kyiv, Lviv and Uzhgorod, where the service worked 24/7 and before, the following were added to the list: Bila Tserkva, Vinnitsa, Zhytomyr, Kremenchug, Kropyvnytskyi, Poltava, Cherkassy, \u200b\u200bIvano-Frankivsk, Kamenets-Podolsky, Lutsk, Rivne, Ternopil, Khmelnitsky, Chernivtsi, Kamenskoye and Odessa. The decision was made as part of government measures to overcome the consequences of emergency situations and is aimed at ensuring citizens’ access to points of indestructibility, heating, medical facilities, train stations and other critical locations. In most cities, you still need a special pass to travel during curfew. As of January 21, Kyiv remains an exception - they do not require a pass if a person is heading to indestructibility or heating points. At the same time, the company emphasizes that the rules may change depending on the decisions of regional military administrations.

Due to the security situation, Uklon applications for riders and drivers will not work during curfew in Dnipro, Zaporozhye, Krivoy Rog, Nikolaev, Sumy, Kharkov, Kherson and Chernigov. Also, the service is temporarily unavailable in Bukovel. Separately, Uklon draws attention to possible difficulties with calling a taxi during power outages or communication interruptions. In such cases, passengers are advised to use the mobile web version of the service; just open the browser, log in, select travel addresses, car class and confirm the order.
