This was announced by the director of the Passenger Company branch of PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia Oleg Golovashchenko in a media commentary. According to him, free trips this month are only available to frontline communities.. In particular, passengers from Sumy, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions can use the program. It is from these regions that you can issue free train tickets within the accrued kilometers. According to a company representative, this restriction is due to peak demand for transportation on the eve of the holidays and a shortage of rolling stock. Therefore, routes from other regions, in particular from Kyiv to the western regions, are temporarily not covered by the program. At the same time, a free ticket within the framework of " Passengers can choose a reserved seat, a compartment or second class " All additional comfort services are paid separately. In particular, bed linen, tea, coffee and other services are not included in the free ticket price. Ukrzaliznytsia notes this separately in order to avoid misunderstandings when arranging a trip.. The application automatically shows the zero cost of the ticket, but additional options require additional payment.

Ukrzaliznytsia also notes that the shortage of tickets is due not only to high demand, but also to speculation. The company blocks accounts with suspicious activity and implements additional control tools to prevent the mass purchase of tickets for resale.
