The National Bank began selling a commemorative 5 UAH coin – 257 UAH per piece. It is dedicated to healthcare workers of Ukraine and was put into circulation on July 26, 2024.
This was reported by the NBU itself.. It was noted there:.
“The commemorative coin is dedicated to the selfless work of Ukrainian medical workers, who, under enemy shelling and the roar of air raid sirens, save thousands of lives both in the rear and on the front line. This coin is a symbol of gratitude and respect for those who do not seek fame, but deserve the highest recognition. It reflects the unbending spirit of Ukraine, where every physician is a superhero of our time,” the message says..
