An invincibility point for passengers from Ukraine was opened in the Polish city of Kholm. This happened after a scandal when Ukrainians, due to delays by customs officers, did not have time to transfer to other flights and were left to spend the night in the cold.
The press service of Ukrzaliznytsia noted that at the station, through which trains from Ukraine pass daily, special heating cars have been installed for passengers, where they can warm up and relax during their travels..

One of the carriages is adapted for families with children: there is a play area, places for feeding and changing babies, as well as coloring books and creativity kits. All visitors can use devices to recharge gadgets and enjoy hot tea in a cozy atmosphere.
The second car is dedicated to art: it presents part of the collection of photographs of Howard Buffett, previously exhibited as part of the Art Train. The cars are located on the third platform of Kholm station.
Ukrzaliznytsia reports that trains from Kharkov, Dnieper and Kyiv run to Kholm, and the station also serves as a transfer hub for further trips to Berlin, Warsaw, Lodz, Poznan and other destinations. About three thousand passengers pass through the Hill every day.
We would like to remind you that Ukrzaliznytsia agreed with the Poles on a number of measures to improve the waiting conditions for passengers in the city of Kholm. In addition, Poland should provide buses to “secure” connections on international flights.
