The government has adopted a resolution that will allow issuing a taxpayer card (individual tax number, TIN) for a child online in the Diya application or offline in the Central Administrative Services Center (Center for Administrative Services). Subsequently, in Dii it will be possible to order an electronic TIN card for adults in case of loss or damage to the document. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov. According to the adopted resolution, it will be possible to obtain a taxpayer card for a child in two ways - online and offline. Online registration will become available in the Diya application, where parents will be able to order a document without visiting government agencies. The offline option provides the opportunity to contact the CNAP.

After registration, the card will be available in digital format directly on your smartphone. If necessary, the document can be printed or shared electronically, for example for a bank, educational institution or employer.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation notes that this is only the first stage of changes. Subsequently, Dii plans to launch the ability to order an electronic taxpayer card not only for children, but also for adults.

This option will be especially useful in cases where the document has been lost or damaged. The exact launch date of the service in the Diya application and in the Central Administrative Service will be announced separately.. Currently, technical preparation and integration of the new service into the digital ecosystem of the state is underway.. It is expected that the new service will reduce the burden on tax authorities and simplify citizens' access to basic administrative procedures.
