Payment of 6,500 UAH has begun in Ukraine: who is already receiving funds

In Ukraine, the implementation of an initiative to provide one-time targeted financial assistance in the amount of 6,500 hryvnia has started. These payments are intended for the most socially vulnerable categories of citizens.

As head of government Yulia Sviridenko reported, the first tranches of funds have already begun to arrive in the accounts of applicants. At the same time, banking institutions continue the process of crediting funds.

As of now, 323,443 people have applied for participation in this program.

The deadline for applying for this assistance is December 17.

Categories supported.

The program is purposefully designed to support individuals who are in dire need of financial assistance. Payments in the amount of UAH 6,500 are provided for:.

Children under guardianship or trusteeship.

Children with disabilities who are raised in foster families or family-type children's homes (FCCH).

Children from internally displaced persons (IDPs) who are already receiving payments for living expenses.

Children from low-income families.

Persons with group I disabilities among IDPs.

Single pensioners who receive a care supplement.

The financial assistance received is credited to Diya. Card or current account with a special mode of use.

According to Yulia Sviridenko, the funds can be used for necessary needs:.

“The funds received can be used to purchase medicines, clothing and shoes within six months after their receipt.”.

In general, the state plans to allocate 4.3 billion hryvnia for the implementation of this program.. It is expected that about 660 thousand Ukrainians will benefit from the support..
