Russia hit the railways in Ukraine: train delays reached 5 hours

On the night of November 6, Russia attacked the railway infrastructure in the Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov regions. Trains are late in large numbers in these regions - delays reach 5 hours. In addition, some commuter trains will run late in the Sumy region, as well as from the Chernihiv region to Kyiv.

This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ) and Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine, Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Alexey Kuleba.

As a result of the night attack, tracks and energy facilities were damaged. No injuries.

Due to damage on the Donetsk and Zaporozhye routes, delays of up to 5 hours are expected for the following trains:.

A number of eastbound trains are running on diverted routes, which has led to delays:.

Train No. 733 Dnepr – Kyiv is moving with an auxiliary locomotive, the estimated delay behind the schedule is less than an hour.

On November 6, the following flights will be temporarily suspended:.



" So, in the direction of Pyatikhatki we will follow to the Verkhovtsevo station, and in the direction of the Dnieper to the Sukhachevka station,” noted the UZ.

There are also changes in the Kharkov region. The train route in the direction of Berestina is limited from/to Sakhnovshchina station.

Passengers were warned that the situation in the regions could change quickly. Therefore, UZ asks you to carefully listen to announcements at stations and terminals, as well as train crews directly on board the train.
