Over the past two years, a share of war veterans among workers has been recorded in 22.2% of enterprises. This is stated in the latest report of the study of the state and needs of micro, small and medium -sized businesses (MMSB), conducted as part of the project " BISTY.

It is noted that in general, respondents demonstrate a positive or neutral attitude to the qualification level of veterans: 35.8% evaluate their professional training as the corresponding average level of other candidates. Among the skills that employers consider the most valuable for business, a high level of self -discipline (51.0%), leadership qualities and orientation on the result (45.9%), engineering training (38.9%) and management competencies (27.7%) are noted..

Some enterprises are already introducing or ready to introduce practices for adaptation of veterans, in particular: a flexible work schedule (29.7%), programs of vocational training and retraining (28.5%), cooperation with organizations specializing in veterans support (25.8%), providing opportunities for distance work (20.9%) and additional leave for medical or personal reasons (20.5%).

" Among the main problems, respondents indicate insufficient qualifications or special training (38.7%), difficulties with psychological adaptation to civilian life (36.9%), physical restrictions or health problems (27.9%), as well as the presence of stereotypes or a prejudice attitude (19.1%), ”the study said.

This situation indicates the need for systemic support for the processes of reintegration of veterans in the labor market and creating an inclusive environment within the framework of the entrepreneurial sector.
