Ukraine will be able to participate in projects as part of the new credit program of the European Union Safe (Security Action for Europe), the total volume of which is up to 150 billion euros. This was stated by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Lyan during a press conference following a meeting of the European Council in Brussels, writes Ukrinform.

Since Ukraine is part of the EU safety circuit, so the Ukrainian defense industry will be able to participate in joint orders as part of SAFE.

In addition to SAFE, the European Commission offers several more tools to increase defense budgets.
