The Pension Fund of Ukraine told whether they need to apply for benefits this year.

It noted that for some categories of citizens the benefits for payment of housing and communal services are provided provided that the average monthly total income of the beneficiary family per person over the past six months does not exceed the established level of income that gives the right to tax social benefit (in 2025.

When determining the average monthly total income of the beneficiary family, the Pension Fund of Ukraine takes into account, in particular, the information of the State Tax Service of Ukraine on the income of the beneficiary and his family members for the 3rd and IV quarters of the previous year.

Inserters submitted tax reports for the IV quarter of 2024 in the STS in accordance with the established procedure until February 10, 2025.

After the Pension Fund of Ukraine received data on income, the right to benefits for the payment of housing and communal services in 2025 will be determined for persons receiving them taking into account the income.

The right to receive benefits for a new period since January 2025 is determined by the Pension Fund of Ukraine automatically.

It is not necessary to contact the organs of the fund, except when the beneficiary has changes in the composition of the family, place of residence or list of services for which benefits are assigned. The payment of benefits appointed from January will be made in March.

If the average monthly total income of the beneficiary family per person exceeds the maximum level that gives the right to tax social benefit (4,240 UAH), you can apply for housing subsidies.
