Each year, the number of insurance experience is growing that a person should have in order to retire by age. From January 1, 2025, in order to retire at 60, it is necessary to purchase at least 32 years of insurance experience for men and women.

The Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Donetsk region told how time a pension would be appointed if a person submitted an application a month and a half after reaching the retirement age.

They explained there that if the appeal for the pension occurred no later than three months from the date of reaching a person of retirement age, the age pension is appointed from the day following the day of reaching retirement age, if after three months from the date of handling him.

The right to age pension for men and women after reaching 60, 63 or 65 years. The age of retirement determines the insurance experience acquired by a person (Article 26 of the Law of Ukraine “On Compulsory State Pension Insurance”).

So, upon reaching in 2025, people who have at least 22 years of insurance experience can be retired by age 63 years.
