Shmygal added that this week the government sent 15 billion hryvnias to compensation for internally displaced persons whose houses were damaged or destroyed. This will allow more than 10 thousand families to get new housing.

Denis Shmygal also said that the Bank for the Development of the Rada of Europe decided to allocate 150 million. euro for housing programs in Ukraine. In addition, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development plans to invest at least 1.5 billion euros in the development of the Ukrainian economy, in particular, in the field of energy and transport.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that in Ukraine there are 5 million internally displaced people who have no housing.
