The amount of pension payments is determined by a number of factors. Among them are the duration of insurance experience, average earnings three years before retirement and the amount of the paid contributions. If the salary was minimal, the pension will be low. It is reported by PFU.

The minimum pension in Ukraine remains unchanged from January 1, 2025 and, according to the budget declaration for 2025–2027, will not increase until 2028. Subject to complete insurance experience, pension payments should be at least 40% of the minimum wage.

Currently, it is 40% of 8,000 hryvnias, that is, the pensioner should receive 3,200 hryvnias.

Moreover, in accordance with the established minimums, this value cannot be less than 3,370 hryvnias.
