In the Lviv region, retired judges receive an average of 112 thousand hryvnia per month. Galina Nedzelskaya, head of the Pension Fund of the Lviv Region, said this on the air of the “Go about” program on the YouTube channel “Pershy Zahidniy”.

Galina Nedzelskaya noted that today there are 145 people registered as having a lifetime allowance. We are talking about judges, whose average pension is now 112,000 hryvnia per month.

In total, as of January 1, there were 671 thousand pensioners in the Lviv region. Pension payments in the region cost 3.6 billion hryvnia per month. The average pension in the region is 5303 hryvnia total. Civilian pensioners have an average pension of 4,830 hryvnia, and military pensioners – 13,300 hryvnia..

More than 50% of pensioners receive money on a card, and about 47% go to the post office. According to Galina Nedzelskaya, this is due to the geographical location of the Lviv region. In some mountainous settlements, people have nowhere to withdraw money from their cards.

Let us remind you that currently the maximum pension payment is UAH 23,610. In accordance with current legislation, the maximum pension cannot exceed 10 subsistence minimums for disabled citizens.

The only exceptions are special allowances for certain categories of citizens: scientists, deputies, local government employees and civil servants.

Thus, in 2024, judges’ pensions in Ukraine exceeded 106 thousand hryvnia. At the same time, individual representatives of the judicial system receive over 200 thousand hryvnia monthly. For example, according to declarations, retired Supreme Court judge Bogdan Poshva receives a pension in the amount of 262 thousand hryvnia.
