Ukraine is actively working on saving and expanding minds to access the European Union market through promoting and consolidating a number of important benefits. Among them are “industrial non-transportation”, continuation of “economical non-transportation” and “transport non-transportation”. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal stated this.
The head of the district said that the export of Ukrainian goods to the EU will continue to grow, and today the European Union will become the main trading partner of Ukraine. In 2024, 60% of all Ukrainian exports fell to European countries, which amounted to approximately $25 billion - 6% more, lower in 2023. The idea of \u200b\u200b“economical import-free transport” has been a success, since the majority of Ukrainian goods are exported to the EU without taxes, tariffs and quotas.
Continuation of the “economical transport-free transport” is one of the main priorities. Shmigal noted that the current minimum for this river is to preserve access to the European market no worse, no worse than in 2024. Now the Ukrainian side is determined to secure this property on a permanent basis by making changes until the association between Ukraine and the EU is achieved.
No less important is the “transport free of charge”, since Ukrainian road carriers do not require special permits to operate in Europe. In 2024, exports by road transport accounted for over 10 million tons worth $14.7 billion, which is 5% more than in 2023.. This area plays a key role in ensuring efficient logistics for Ukrainian exports.
Another important aspect of integration is the establishment of rules on “non-vehicle trade”. Having completed all preparations for the work, the government has lost its praise for only one bill that will soon be submitted to parliament. This goal transfers mutually recognized certification of products between Ukraine and the EU, which significantly simplifies the process of Ukrainian goods entering the European market, reduces the time spent on checking and changing.
Shmigal emphasized that the “industrial non-vehicles” will become a unique tool for supporting Ukrainian business and its integration into the European economy. Its implementation will ensure increased exports, expanded markets and the creation of new opportunities for domestic producers. All this time is part of a comprehensive strategy to consolidate cooperation between Ukraine and the EU, which will allow the Ukrainian economy to be further integrated into European cohesion.
