The Ukrainian Grain Association predicted the level of harvest for this year. Ukraine will collect 68 million. tons of grain and oilseeds in 2023, which is 5.3 million. tons less than in 2022 and 36% less than in pre-war 2021 (106 million. tons), UGA said.
The fall in future crop volumes is due to: the occupation of part of the territory of Ukraine, mines, warfare, as well as the lack of funds and other resources from farmers for a full-fledged sowing campaign and growing crops.

The corn harvest in the new season is expected to reach 23.3 million tons due to a decrease in the area under corn by about 800 thousand hectares (in 2021 - 37.6 million tons, in 2022 - 27.3 million tons). Exports may be about 19 million. tons.
Sunflower harvest in 2023 is expected to reach 12.7 million. tons due to an increase in sown area under it by 800 thousand hectares (in 2021 - 16.9 million. tons, 2022 - 11.1 million. tons). Exports may amount to 1.2 million. tons. Processing of sunflower into oil can reach 11.5 million tons.
