With such an area last year, Ukrainian farmers harvested about 160 thousand. tons.

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, domestic consumption of cereals in Ukraine is approximately 110 thousand. tons annually.

Most of all, farmers sow buckwheat in the Ternopil region, where they have already sown 8.8 thousand. ha. Also in the top three are Vinnitsa and Sumy.
