Recall that at the end of last year, the EU Council reached an agreement on a legislative package that will allow the EU to provide financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 18 billion euros during 2023.. At the same time, loans within this package will have a 10-year grace period..

According to the EU Council statement, the aim is to provide short-term financial assistance, finance Ukraine's urgent needs, restore critical infrastructure and initially support a sustainable post-war reconstruction to support Ukraine on the path to European integration..
