Head of the Tax Committee of the Verkhovna Rada Daniil Getmantsev announced the decision to restore order in the market of excisable goods, which was adopted at a meeting of the Committee on May 8. The Committee considered issues of compliance with legislation on the market of excisable goods.

And to solve this problem, according to members of the Committee, it is possible through an increase in the number of inspections of gas stations, factories for the production of alcohol, alcoholic beverages, licensees engaged in retail trade in tobacco products, as well as retail outlets for these goods..

In addition, regular raids should be carried out in places of spontaneous illegal trade in excisable goods, including. in the markets and through retail chains (including. shops, kiosks, mobile trade objects).

The members of the Committee also point out to law enforcement officers the need to monitor the sale of illegal excisable products via the Internet, including using the mobile applications Viber, WhatsApp, Telegram and websites.

One of the most interesting recommendations of the Committee is the instruction of the State Tax Service to organize round-the-clock video surveillance of the sale of alcoholic beverages in Ukraine.
