Oil flows from Russia flowing mainly to Asia do not confirm the information that Russia has reduced oil production. Now exports have almost reached a record since the start of a full-scale war between Russia and Ukraine.. It is reported by Bloomberg, referring to data on tanker transportation..

For the week to April 28, oil exports amounted to 4.1 million barrels per day. This is the second case after the invasion of Ukraine, when it exceeded the mark of 4 million. The first time (just over 4.1 million) this happened in the last week of March.

Over the past four weeks, daily exports averaged 3.5 million barrels.. This is the highest level in the last 14 months.

In fact, the volumes of refining have not changed this year either.. In the first 19 days of April, they even exceeded the figure for April 2022 by 720,000 barrels per day..

Recall, last week, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov warned that Russia's federal budget deficit in 2023 could exceed the forecast due to falling oil and gas revenues.. But the fact is that even though Russia managed, despite the sanctions, to maintain the volume of exports of both crude oil and petroleum products. But at the same time, the raw material revenues of the budget still collapsed by almost half due to prices that fell as a result of sanctions..
