NJSC Naftogaz deliberately accumulates debt, which will inevitably lead to the bankruptcy of the company. According to the same scheme, the largest state-owned energy company, Centrenergo, is going bankrupt, expert Oleg Posternak said, Facts writes..

At the same time, the expert referred to the correspondence of the head of Naftogaz Alexei Chernyshev, which became the property of the media..

“The accumulation of multibillion-dollar debts by Naftogaz and its subsidiaries will lead to the inevitable bankruptcy of the monopolist. From the correspondence between the management of Ukrgasdobycha and NJSC Naftogaz, Chernyshev's course to stop payments without explanation and accumulate debts is clearly visible,"

According to Posternak, the example of Naftogaz and the state-owned Centrenergo shows a new technology that can be called "

“In exactly the same way, Centerenergo is now being brought to bankruptcy.. In both processes, a new dangerous technology can be traced, which can be called " Forces controlling the processes earn on kickbacks from issued payments or enrich themselves on the gap in assets after bankruptcy, remaining in the win in any case, ”he said..

According to Posternak, several months have passed since the appointment of Alexei Chernyshev. And if at the beginning of his tenure, expectations were restrained, now Chernyshev is being criticized for personnel decisions, loyalty to the Kharkiv counterparties of NAK, stopping payments and accumulating multibillion-dollar debt.

“It can definitely be argued that while the country is occupied with war, someone is tearing up Ukraine’s energy and planning to get its most valuable assets for next to nothing.. The appointment of a convenient Chernyshev was one of the initial steps. The next frontier is the bankruptcy of NJSC Naftogaz, which we are approaching at a very high speed,"

Recall that recently in the media and social networks you can see signs of an information campaign directed against the newly appointed leadership of Naftogaz.. In all cases, there are statements about suspended payments and about privileged settlements with Kharkiv counterparties.

Naftogaz never commented on these publications.

At the same time, on March 10, the press service of Naftogaz spoke about a new scenario for restructuring debts on Eurobonds, which the company proposed to creditors. The working scenario is based on preliminary discussions with creditors and takes into account the financial possibilities of Naftogaz, limited by a full-scale war, as well as the government's framework for servicing public debts.

Naftogaz asked to defer payments on Eurobonds for two years in July last year. The company managed to agree on a debt deferral for only one of the three Eurobond issues.

In early February, Naftogaz held a series of consultations with holders of the company's Eurobonds on the restructuring of debt obligations on Eurobonds maturing in 2022 and 2026.
