The Cabinet of Ministers at a meeting on Tuesday appointed an interim acting head of the State Inspectorate for Architecture and Urban Planning of Ukraine (DIAM). This was announced by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk.

Alexander Novitsky became the new head of DIAM, who, due to the temporary status of the head of the inspection, continues to head the service department of the same body.

The post of head of DIAM was vacated on March 6, in connection with the appointment of the former head, Semyon Krivonos, as director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.

Recall that DIAM was established in December 2020 and in September 2021 replaced the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate. Semyon Krivonos has headed the inspection since May 2021.
