In 2023, a new level of monetary allowance for military personnel was approved. The salaries of Ukrainian defenders in the rear have decreased, and those who participate in hostilities have increased their financial support.

So, for example, the salary of a shooter in 2022 was: for those who do not perform combat missions and do not participate in hostilities - 43 thousand UAH; for those who participate in hostilities - 113238 UAH.

In particular, in 2023, shooters not performing combat missions will receive UAH 20,587, shooters performing combat missions - UAH 50,587, and combatants - UAH 120,587.

A similar principle remains in the salaries of military personnel of a higher rank. For example, in 2022, platoon commanders received:

UAH 49,000 for those who do not perform combat missions and do not participate in hostilities, UAH 119,095 for combatants.

In 2023, the monetary allowance of the platoon commander will be: UAH 28,229 - for those who do not perform combat missions and do not participate in hostilities, UAH 58,229 - for those who perform combat missions, UAH 128,229 - for combatants on the front line.
