The campaign for voluntary declaration of assets (tax amnesty), which started in September 2021, has ended in Ukraine. This was recalled by the head of the tax committee of the parliament Daniil Getmantsev.

The total value of declared assets amounted to 8.82 billion. UAH. Moreover, 30% of this amount - UAH 2.6 billion, was declared over the past two weeks.

A total of 845 declarations were submitted.

Recall that on June 15, 2021, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the second reading bill No. 5153 on voluntary one-time declaration of assets of individuals.

The authors of the concept expected that due to the tax amnesty it would be possible to withdraw up to $ 20 billion into the legal field, Danilo Getmantsev, head of the BP Tax Committee, said on the air of the Freedom of Speech program in March 2021.

However, it was not possible to achieve such results even after the extension of the tax amnesty for another six months..
