Due to the military invasion of the Russian Federation, many Ukrainians were forced to leave their homes and become internally displaced persons (IDPs). The state and international organizations provide assistance to IDPs in Ukraine. Specialists of the Social Information Platform told how IDPs with disabilities in the Odessa region can receive additional payments.
Who can get help.
The amount of assistance from Caritas. Odessa” is 6660 UAH per person. The payment is credited to the bank account of one of the family members at a time, but no more than four payments per family.

Assistance can be received by persons evacuated to the Odessa region after February 24, 2022 with IDP status who personally or one of their family members have one of the following vulnerabilities:.
The presence in the family of a person with a disability of I, II groups.
The presence in the family of a person with a disability since childhood I, II groups.
The presence in the family of children with disabilities under 18 years of age.
The presence in the family of people with physical or mental defects, namely: severe visual impairment, hearing loss; difficulties in self-care; difficulties in movement; impaired memory, concentration and attention; speech impairment and communication difficulties.
To apply for this assistance, there is an important condition - non-receipt of financial assistance from other charitable organizations over the past three months.

What documents are required to make a payment.
Registration takes place at:. Odessa, st. Generala Petrov, d. 49. You must first fill out an online form.
When registering, you must provide the original documents of each family member:.
passport or ID-card and certificate of residence registration;
individual tax number for all family members, including those under the age of 14 (TIN);
child's birth certificate;
hryvnia bank account to the applicant's card (IBAN);
IDP certificate;
a document certifying disability (only groups I and II) or a document confirming the presence of a disease that limits the physical or mental capabilities of a person;
document certifying legal custody of a child or adult (if you are registering such a person).
