Ukrainians can independently find out the details about the calculation of pension payments, including the periods that were taken into account in the insurance period. To do this, you need to contact the local branch of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) or register on the electronic services portal.

Will the period of study at the university be counted as work experience?.

Full-time education at a university, technical school or college until 2004 is counted in the experience.

This is done on the basis of a diploma or a certificate from an educational institution provided to the Pension Fund.. If a person studied after 2004, then this period is not counted in the experience.

You can find out details about the calculation of your pension, including the periods taken into account in the length of service, either at the local branch of the Pension Fund or by registering on the PFU e-services portal.

This portal has a tab " If there are technical capabilities (computer and Internet), pensioners - users of the portal can independently view the electronic file.

After reviewing the electronic pension file, you can familiarize yourself with:.

basic data (number of the pension file and personal account, type of pension, date of its appointment);

a certificate of salary, which was taken into account when assigning (recalculating) a pension;

certificate of seniority, which is taken into account to determine the right to a pension;

certificate of service, which is taken into account for calculating the pension.

At the same time, the first extract from the pension case becomes available for generation within three days after registration on the portal. Further updating of the statement takes place in the first decade of each following month.
