Despite the war, pensions and other social benefits continue to be paid in Ukraine. All pensioners have a different amount of pension payments, depending on the length of service and other factors.. The Pension Fund of Ukraine told what the average pension is for working pensioners.

In Ukraine, as of January 1, 2023, 10.7 million pensioners were registered. Of these, 2.7 million people continued to work.

Thus, according to the PFU, the average amount of pension payments for pensioners in Ukraine amounted to:.

for working pensioners - UAH 4837.57;

for the unemployed - UAH 4,622.59.

The distribution of pensioners by types of assigned payments was as follows:.

persons who receive an old-age pension - 74.06%;

disability - 13.99%;

in case of loss of a breadwinner - 5.96%;

by seniority - 5.35%;

social pensions - 0.60%;

lifetime maintenance of judges - 0.04%.
