Pension expert Sergei Korobkin explained why some pensioners aged 70 and over still receive less than the specified amount, writes "
According to him, the increase applies to women with at least 30 years of experience and men with at least 35 years of experience..
For some unemployed persons over 70 who do not have 30 and 35 years of service, respectively, the minimum pension payment from October 1 should still have increased slightly - in proportion to the length of service, based on the amount of UAH 3,000.
For example, a woman over 70 years of age claims a pension of at least UAH 3,000.. But she has only 28 years and 4 months of experience (340 months in total), not 30 years (360 months).
We make up the proportion and get the minimum pension for a woman over 70 years old with exactly this amount of experience:.
3000: 360? 340 \u003d 2833.33 UAH.
If the total amount of her pension was slightly less than the specified amount, then from October an additional payment should be established to her.
In Ukraine, citizens who have reached retirement age, but have not accumulated the amount of insurance experience necessary to receive a pension, can count on temporary social assistance.
