In Ukraine, all employers will receive relief for 2023 in the form of a suspension of obligations to calculate wage indexation for employees.

The department noted that on November 23, 2022, Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the Law of Ukraine " eleven. 2022. No. 2710-IX.
“The law provides for a number of important indicators for 2023, including the suspension of the Law of Ukraine “On indexation of monetary incomes of the population”. The corresponding norm is enshrined in paragraph. 3 of the Final Provisions of the Law on the State Budget of 2023,” the statement reads..

The Government emphasized that the suspension of the Law will affect not only wages, but also other incomes of individuals that are indexed under this Law. In particular:.
pensions;
scholarships;
allowance;
the amount of payments made in accordance with the legislation on compulsory state social insurance, except for monthly insurance payments to victims at work (including payments for the necessary care for the victims) and their family members and pensions indexed in accordance with the law for these types of insurance;
amounts of compensation for harm caused to an individual by injury or other damage to health, as well as amounts paid to persons entitled to compensation for harm in the event of loss of a breadwinner, except for the amount of payments made in accordance with the legislation on compulsory state social insurance;
fixed amount of alimony.
The Government also explained that the owner or a body authorized by him can decide on additional incentive payments due to the high level of inflation in Ukraine.
