The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court yesterday, January 4, chose a measure of restraint for the former People's Deputy, who headed one of the committees of the Rada in the last convocation. This was reported by the press service of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.

According to the report, the VAKS judge decided to send the deputy into custody. Although he can be released on bail of UAH 40.26 million.

According to investigators, in 2012 the deputy took 200 million. UAH. on credit for the construction of a residential complex on the outskirts of Kyiv.

In 2019, after the bank had solvency problems, the deputy set up an auction that allowed him to buy his own mortgage loan cheaply – the deputy’s company paid only UAH 16 million for the right to claim UAH 128 million. As a result, the bank lost 112 million. UAH.

Law enforcement agencies do not name the suspect, but report that he headed one of the parliamentary committees, and before that he was a deputy of the Kyiv Regional Council.
